Phase IV was created during the first quarter of 2023. Reuniting Mike Vest and Fred Laird with Nick Raybould who contributed skins to the 2022 highly acclaimed ‘Pancosmology’. With this latest Opus, the trio joined forces with their own Far East Family man Mitsuru Tabata for lead guitar assault and Heavy bass battery.

Influences fly like a bullet train with songs that range from the speed freak biker groove of early 80’s Hawkwind (Yateveo, Life In The Air Raid), Amon Duul 1’s mushroom commune jams (The Mind Alchemists), On U sounds Dark Dub of Creation Rebel (My Dark Places) and Stereolab’s hypnotic floor stomps (Phase IV). Artifacts and Uranium have made their most assured and sonically driven album to date.
